Met Consultancy Group is a Leeds based company with over 35 years’ experience offering integrated survey, geophysics & engineering solutions. Met is looking for a self-motivated and driven Marketing Executive to help them rebuild and grow their marketing function.
This is a diverse part-time role with the Marketing Executive overseeing and driving marketing efforts both internally and externally. Met are looking for a qualified marketing professional with at least 2 years’ experience across the full marketing mix, and a pro-active, “can-do” attitude.
This is the ideal role for someone looking to develop his or her B2B marketing experience or someone looking to stay in touch with the profession whilst taking a step back from a full-time position.
The Marketing Executive will develop and implement plans to increase Met’s exposure through multiple marketing and business development channels. They will work closely with senior management to improve communication both internally between departments, and externally to current and prospective clients. This includes:
Digital marketing strategy: managing social media presence, website content and tracking performance through Hootsuite, Google Analytics and other platforms as required
Email marketing campaigns: developing targeted email marketing campaigns to keep clients informed of our service offering
Customer feedback: managing the customer feedback process. This includes setting up the annual survey, collating the results and providing recommendations to the business.
Internal communications strategy: working closely with senior management to develop the culture within the business, by setting internal initiatives to engage staff and grow the business from the inside out
Project/ Event management: Managing ad-hoc marketing projects and organising client events as required
Championing the new integrated management system: working with colleagues across departments to standardise key service processes, set up reports to track customer interactions and clean up & maintain the customer data quality.
Along with managing day-to-day marketing operations, the Marketing Executive will support business development including creating case studies, recording customer feedback and collating responses from across the business to tender requests
Who are we looking for?
The Marketing Executive will be a self-starter who is able to prioritise their workload, work with senior management and manage relationships with external suppliers where necessary. You will ideally have worked within the Engineering, Surveying or Construction sectors.
Experience / Skills
- Marketing degree or equivalent
- 2 years + experience
- Microsoft package experience
- CRM experience
- Hootsuite / Google Analytics desirable
