Project Overview
Met Consultancy Group inland waterway surveys team was commissioned to conduct extensive river channel, floodplain, culvert and structure surveys to inform large urban flood modelling programmes.
River Survey Overview
The sites posed significant accessibility challenges with investigations requiring boat access to reach deeper stretches of waterway whilst confined space teams were deployed to culverted sections, some less than 1m high. The investigation also required roped access teams for surveying across weirs.
