Jet2Airline Jet2.com has launched its new £9.5m state-of-the-art training academy designed on land and measured building survey data provided by Met Geo Environmental.

The 32,232 sq ft facility, based on Bradford’s Euroway Industrial Estate, is a first for Yorkshire and the only one in the North which has been specifically designed as a fully integrated Simulator and Cabin Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) training centre for both flight deck and cabin crew.

Housing three flight simulators, unique cabin crew trainer units, a high-tech Computer Based Training (CBT) room for pilots and fully equipped classrooms and briefing rooms, Jet2.com says it will provide an “unrivalled quality” of training for both new recruits and the airline’s existing 579 pilots, 24 pilot apprentices and 960 cabin crew.
