Two schemes for which Met Engineers provided civil and structural engineering designs and pre-planning reports have won their categories in the South Yorkshire and Humber Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards 2016.
The awards were held last night, 12 May 2016, at Forest Pines Hotel near Brigg where Andy King and Matthew Young represented Met Engineers as guests of Bardsley Construction Ltd. The two schemes for Synergy Housing were:
Best Social/Affordable Housing Development, the Jean Gledhall Apartments, Ben Lane, Sheffield designed by Brewster Bye and constructed by Bardsley Construction Ltd
Best Community Project, The Orchard, Lockwood Street, Hull designed by Acanthus WSM Architects and constructed by Hobson & Porter Ltd.
These projects now go forward to the National Awards so well done all and fingers crossed for more success.
